The Development Award
for Character Development recognises schoolswhich have put in place
systems and processes for the effective development of
students’ character.
Development Award (DA) For National Education (2005-2007)
The Development Award for National Education is given to schools which have established a structured programme for developing students in the many areas of National Education.
SAA - Uniformed Groups
The Sustained Achievement Award for Uniformed Groups is given to schools which has achieved Gold and Silver awards for at least 3 of their Uniformed groups consecutively for the past 3 years.
Green Audit Orchid Award (2005)
To achieve the award, a school would have to complete at least 90% of the total Audit questions as well as showing a high-level of environmental concern (based on questions answered).
To achieve the award, a school would have to carry out the audit in the following year and prove that it had significantly improved its results. The school will also need to participate in nationwide environment related competitions and carry out community related environment projects.
