About CCA's

Rationale of CCA Participation


• To encourage participation in meaningful activities that instils in Marsilings' desirable values and social attitudes

• To acquire lifelong skills that enable our students have a head-start for their future


Marsiling CCA Policy


• Participation in (1) core CCA is compulsory.
• Students are NOT encouraged to change CCA.
• Foreign students cannot choose NCC or NPCC as CCA.
• Any change of CCA will only take place at the beginning of the year.
• Poor attendance and other disciplinary reasons may result in being sacked from CCA.
• NPCC, NCC and Band are mandatory CCAs.
• CCA will be stopped 2 weeks before the periods of Mid-year and End of year examinations.
• All CCAs are carried out for at least (2) hours per session. With exception to CCA groups preparing for competitions, there will be more training sessions.

Use of CCA Points

• For admission to 3 year Pre U-Course, it can be used as a subject.
• For admission to polytechnic/ITE, it is used as an advantage in getting admission
• For admission to JC, points can be deducted from L1R5:

• Key in your IC number to log in
• Fill in all the information needed
• Must make 3 choices
• Submit the selection

You are to submit online by 18 Jan 2007 latest, otherwise you will be assigned CCA by HOD PE CCA.
